Temple District (AR0900)*

When you come here during the day, near the Temple of Lathander you'll witness Gaal preaching to the citizens of Athkatla about the new cult of the "Unseeing Eye". Gaal says that by having his eyes removed he was able to see the truth that otherwise could not be seen. He says that the gods that these people worship are false gods, and goes on defiling the foundations of religion. Gaal tries to convince the nearby crowd to cast aside their gods and join him and his god, the Unseeing Eye. During this whole process Dawnmasrer Kreel tries to interrupt and save the crowd from the effect of Gaal's speeches, but nobody listens to him. Gaal then takes the new believers with him down the sewer entrance.
After this conversation you are approached by High Watcher Oisig, he wants to hire you as mercenaries and tells you to follow him to the Temple of Helm to discuss matters in a more private environment.

Temple of Helm (AR0901)

Near the entrance to the temple, during the day, you'll be able to talk to Watchknight Aabir, he'll tell you a bit about Helm and will direct you to the temple.

Guardian Telwyn wants you to gain services of Sir Sarles for this temple. He wants to commission a work from Sir Sarles, however he warns you that Sir Sarles, being an exceptional artist that he is, works only with pure illithium - metal more expensive than gold. You are to convince Sir Sarles to make the work for the temple of Helm, but make haste as the other churches are also trying to gain his services. You need to find enough illithium and to convince the artist to accept a reasonable commission. Your expenses in this matter shall be compensated.
Once you convinced Sir Sarles to work for the temple by bringing him pure illithium you can come back to Guardian Telwyn for your reward. He'll give you the gold that you've spent on this quest, some experience and a Helm of Glory. It is worth mentioning that the Helm of Glory can be pickpocketed from Guardian Telwyn. If you've brought an alloy to Sir Sarles, Guardian Telwyn will say that the temple will commision a work from a local artist using the alloy that you've brought. At this point, however, High Wathcer Oisig will notice that the lump of illithium alloy resembles the work of Prism and will find it pleasing.
After you've finished the sculpture quest Guardian Telwyn will say that the Temple of Helm may need your help in assisting the Temple of Lathander in their dispute with the Temple of Talos. He tells you to go and talk to the Dawnbringer Sain in the Temple of Lathander.

Your job is to infiltrate the cult "as friend or conqueror". High Watcher Oisig also tells you that you can seek the help of Keldorn - he can be your ally in this task.
Once you finish the existence of the cult, return to the High Watcher Oisig and report to him about the completion of your investigation of the Unseeing Eye Cult. For this your party will get tons of experience and a nice reward. High Watcher Oisig tells you that were you one of the flock, you would earn much greatness for doing this mission.

Apparantly Garrick is trying to convince Lady Irlana that he loves her, but his skills as a bard are somewhat lacking and so he has a little gnome Cyrando help him in this matter. He he he. Well, Garrick is a fop, and, apparently, Lady Irlana and Cyrando have the thing for each other. Jan Jansen will throw some good remarks to Cyrando about gnomes loving the big folk.
The second time you will come by here, Garrick will again try to win Lady Irlana over with his, err ... correction, Cyrando's, speeches. Garrick will ask to spend an evening in Lady Irlana's arms. However, the gnome Cyrando will be discovered by Sir Cadril at which point Garrick and Cyrando will run away.
